Apply to The Clowes Fund Online

All Clowes Fund applications must be submitted via GOapply. To apply online, please carefully review and follow the steps below; then click the blue button at the bottom of the page for GOapply portal access.

  1. Our current February 1 application phase is only for organizations who have been invited to submit a Final Application for the 2024-25 cycle.

  2. For organizations submitting a Final Application, review the Final Application Instructions page under the Grantseekers tab (above) for application and narrative requirements.

  3. Start as early as possible! Use only the GOapply portal to submit your application. Early submission will ensure we have time to respond to questions. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

  4. Access your Final Application once you are logged into GOapply by:
    1. Clicking on the In Progress tab in blue ribbon menu at top of page.
    2. Clicking View to the left of the listing with Phase Due Date of 2/1/2025.

  5. GOapply ProTips:
    —The Organization Profile fields are disabled by design; you will not be able to “fix” any fields in that grayed out section; refer to the live application pages to enter any corrections.
    —You will see fields with auto-populated data from your Intro/SOI application phase, and you will see some new fields with no data. Check all fields to ensure complete and accurate data entry!
    —If you copy/paste text from outside of GOapply, it is optimal to copy/paste from Notepad, or paste as plain text (not rich text) to avoid issues with special characters upon submission.
    —Refer to these ProTips and the Tooltips inside GOapply to help guide response formats.
    —Save your work often; you can save, log out and return to the portal as needed to finish.
    —Be patient! The system may take a moment to register and save your answers.
    —Upload required attachments in PDF format; avoid Word, Excel, other file types.
    —If you experience a tech issue in GOapply, please first clear your browser cache/history and/or try a different browser, and then log in again.

  6. When you click Submit, do not close your browser until you receive the Submission Confirmation Email (receipt may take several minutes; also, check Junk/Spam folders). If you do not receive this email, it is a sign we did not receive your application.

  7. Review your application PDF ASAP to ensure that your data and attachments are as you intended. Your application PDF can be viewed and downloaded/saved from the Submitted tab inside your GOapply account.

  8. Final Applications are by invitation only and due by Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM Eastern. (Introductory Applications and Continuation Grant Statements of Intent were due November 1.)
